I know that it is not easy to make a game but this overpriced. If you look at other games in the genre you will see that this is way to expensive. This price could kill the game at the beginning because of the beginning price.

Idk, it's less expensive than if you get EYF on the day one release and tbh with each update coming in roughly 3-5 months that's not outrageous, essentially, you're paying from about 7-4 dollars per month spent on the update if you unsubscribe and resubscribe on every release which is very little in terms of how much money the creator is getting for their months of work put into the game. And most people aren't paying $20 a month anyways rather 5 or less just to see progress is being made which is about the same if not cheaper than what you're paying the creator for one time purchases on the release dates. I agree when you get a big audience you should eventually lower the price to both bring in more people that may not pay otherwise and also to reward long time followers for sticking with the project, but I don't think 10-20 dollars for a major release is unreasonable. Now if the content in that release is too little or not as good as previous ones, that's a whole different conversation. I feel EYF and Obey are good games though, EYF is suffering from a lack of structure though, like all the good buildup is now past so there's less plot with your scenes and Obey is too early to tell. But if that's how you feel, it's your money man, not gonna tell you how to spend it.

I get you point. I think just that on the very early stage, where the costumer is unsure what to expect. This price is not helping. There are a bunch of Visual Novels etc. which have high hopes and then they reveal to be garbage. I’m not saying that this is one of those, However it is kind of risky. And big sorry for my unpleasant English skill. I’m not a native speaker.

Ronin

That's fair but it's also the only way to fund early projects with little support too, so it's a tough situation to be in.

i pay 20..and i think it is well worth it.

Im sorry but im gonna go with blackworld on this one. The pricing for AnnaPink is a little off. I like this kind of game,, and the tf genre is a good rare one. The art is good, the story is a little rushed, but its a noble effort. That said, when you compare yourself with other creator on the market and you dont make a effort to be competitive, your gonna have a hard time getting patron. There is a lot of good stuff out there and so little of my money to give. Make it so i can support you (1$ to 3 $ range, without imeditate download. ) i just wanna see your work appreciated by many people and thats a way to do it. Just my tought !

I know for some people $10 a month is a lot. But if I price the game for $2 and get $300 per game per month, I'm not interested at all. Of course, everyone thinks about themselves first of all, but nobody cares about how the author should live on $300 a month. I spend almost 200 hours a month developing the game and if anyone thinks that $10 is too much - well, I won't argue with you. Someone leaves a tip to a waiter more than $10. But for some reason, paying $10 for a month and a half of the author's work it's too much? The Obey exists only thanks to donations from Patreons. There will be no donation, there will be no game, everything is simple. Only patreons fund my game and I am immensely grateful to those who support me.

Thanks for your answer anna... And know that my post wasnt a attack on your work or on your effort that you put being a creator. It was just a opinion on billing strategy. Never would i want to offend or discourage you on the work you are doing. I think that its very brave for you and sissy dream to put as much effort on creation that are so often judged Without tought on what the creator put into it. For myself i admire the quality of both your work and even if im not a constant supporter, know that i will support you as much i can, within my financial situation. Loves and good tought to you both.

Really like the concept and images, But I like most people on here am already paying for a few games every month. It adds up. Why not create a $5 tier that gets the update 2 or 4 weeks after the $10 tier? It's what a lot of creators on Patreon do.
