Back Online! (Patreon)

I didn't say anything before because my access was limited but, halfway through my last picture, my video card burned out. Fortunately, it burned out in such a way that I could still use my tablet monitor under the Windows basic video drivers so I could finish the picture. But I wasn't able to use my main monitor or anything 3D. I would have to buy a replacement video card.

However, it turns out that video card prices have jumped way up and most models are sold out because of shortages (from the pandemic, I think) so I had to settle for whatever I could get that was at least kind of close to what I had and would arrive as soon as possible.

So then the new card arrives and I install the hardware but then the driver installation disc turns out to be junk and I have to go through a whole extra hassle of accessing safe mode and downloading new drivers but, a few hours later, I'm finally back up and running and ready to start my next picture.
