Since I got a little behind last month, I was planning to do another drawing before this month's sketch session but then...

On the last day of June, two abandoned bunnies showed up at my apartment complex. They've been hiding in the bushes and some of the kids who live here have been feeding them, as did I. Yesterday, I spent an hour chasing one of them around and finally caught him. Then I spent another hour searching for the other bunny but couldn't find him. Then I went all over town trying to find a place that could take him in before going to the country shelter, which it turns out has a very good adoption rate. He was the sixth bunny they got that day.

I caught the second one today. That's bunny number two in the video.

Five other bunnies were turned in between the two. Apparently, the shelters get a lot of abandoned bunnies at this time of year, mostly from people who get a bunny for Easter and then get bored of them.

Pets are not toys. Sissies are toys. Pets are not toys.

Bunny number two

This little bunny was abandoned near my apartment. Even with some of the local kids feeding him, he was looking a bit frail. Today, I caught him and brought him to a shelter with a very good adoption rate. Apparently, they get a lot of bunnies this time of year. This is bunny number two because I caught his friend and brought him to the shelter. He was the sixth bunny turned in that day and five other bunnies were turned before I caught bunny number two. Please consider adopting a bunny from your local shelter.
