It does seem like a shame to skip the dancing because that would have been really funny.

Based on a suggestion from Josster for this month's theme of "Couples".

The incredible amount of detail in the food and attention to lighting is something I feel that I could not find from many other artists!

In this genre, no, but I think that's mainly because detailed food is rarely relevant in this genre. I just wanted it to be very clear that it was lobster for "her". ;)

So I gather that the guy's been dominating the conversation all evening... :-) This seems a little bit different in terms of style, isn't it, Dov? I know you've shown cutaways and such before, but not as often the side-by-side. It's interesting, because I know you make an effort to always drop clues that the crossdressed character is actually male, but this is different because it lets "her" look more real and the viewer still gets what's going on. Fun solution!

Yes, this type of cutaway is fun because I don't have to rely on a mid-process shot or showing the seams to make it clear that the character is other than what "she" seems.

Jenny North

It's a neat alternative! Though I guess the down side is that it basically adds another character to the artwork for the "inside" view, but it's fun to see the full put-together outer view. (And also the inner and outer reaction shots!)
