The clothing worn by Taoists is called "daopao", which is a type of traditional Han Chinese attire.

Taoists conduct religious activities in places called "gong", "guan", "daoyuan," or "miao", and many of them reside in these places.

Nowadays, the daopao is usually lined with a Manchu-style magua.
