Rise of Corruption Player Survey Results (Patreon)

Thanks to everyone who participated in the survey. The results of this survey are interesting, so lets go over the results.

First Question:  Who is your favorite overall character in the game?

• Repeatable training sex scenes - 3%

Twelfth/Final Question:  What non corruption content/mechanic do you want to see added, or expanded most?

Results:

• Religion based around the main/player character - 51.1%
• Empire/Kingdom Management - 28.6%
• Compliance content - 20.3%

Final thoughts:

With these results, it's safe to say that most players who took the survey like characters and content that involve worship, devotion, and loyalty to the player/MC.  For most of the poll's duration, Misaki was the favorite in most categories by around 9-12% until the last day or two when Yukako got a surge of votes.  So, it's also safe to say that Misaki and Yukako are the current favorites of the game for most players.

Bogthos also seems to be the favorite side character by a wide margin.  Although he only has a small amount that want to see more interactions with him, so the current level of interactions with Bogthos seem to be good for most players.

It's no surprise that Romanos easily gained the most votes for least liked characters.  Although it is surprising that he was in the top 3 for most liked side characters, with a small amount of people wanting more interactions with him.

The Demon Queen seems to be the current most desired character to start corrupting, but that will start later in the game.  Although, it will be likely that I can get in more interactions with her when it would be possible to do so without breaking the flow and feeling of the story, since she is also the most desired character to have more interactions with.

For the religion around the main/player character, that's something that will be introduced slightly before or around V0.3.0, with the character that will help the MC both start, and benefit from said religion being introduced in V0.2.1.  Players that have done the second or third lore conversation with Bogthos will better understand why, and who that character is when that update comes out.

The overall results of the poll stayed the same throughout it's duration until the final two days when Yukako got a surge of votes in a few catagories, so it's somewhat safe to say that these results represent the overall player base's opinions.  At least the ones active enough to participate in the survey.

Don't be discouraged if your choice didn't get 1st place in a category, as even those that didn't will still get more attention in future updates, and the overall results still helping me figure out what people want to see more of, even for the choices that didn't get 1st place in their categories.

Further discussion about the poll's results in here, or in the discord will also help me get a better idea of how to treat these results.  Going into detail in your opinion, and explaining why you voted the way you did will be helpful to me for those of you that decide to engage in these discussions.

Another survey similar to this one will also be released for V0.3.0's development in the future.
