Happy Saturday, friends!

Time to take a look at what’s been done this week:

  • The voice acting for all of the characters has been completed and cut.
  • Integrated the voice lines for Iden, Blaine, and Tifa into the game’s code.
  • The combat system has been changed again; in Version 0.2, it will be available more as a first-time/tutorial combat.
  • Created a day-and-night system and added corresponding new backgrounds.
  • The new version continues to be in the testing phase.
  • Made new music for the tavern.
  • Baku has bronchitis, background artist Silvamara_v has gotten a little sick, and programmer Eliont also got sick but is now on the mend.
  • The game is being translated concurrently.
  • Created a small new sword animation toward the finale of Version 0.1.
  • Our Telegram channel now has 250 followers (hurray!); Our Twitter account has 45! Though the numbers may be small, we’re very happy with them.

Guys, this is a separate postscript to the devlog for the most interested and attentive! We have very little left to do: chibi scenes, items, and coding the arrangement of the sprites and voice lines.

The release of Version 0.2 will be coming this month (February). It will initially be available to $10+ supporters. This entails an early access period and the identification of any possible remaining bugs. A week after that, the game will become available to $5+ supporters, and after another week, it will be made available to everyone.
