Update: Annual Sub Option Available Now! (Patreon)

Pretty much as the title says, it looks like Patreon's been working on stuff in the background; actually there's other stuff I'm waiting to see how it finally rolls out that we've been made aware of that could be nice, but that'll wait 'til then.

Anyways, this is mainly just an additional option you guys have now should you choose, but if you ever want to take the annual sub option, I've tweaked it so it'll effectively give you one of the 12 months free after taxes too (at least under avg cases, taxes are weird when they do apply).

As a point of extra awareness in the case of anyone else you may be subbed to, the annual option isn't available to every creator; there's some underlying criteria that everyone seems to have to hit, so there's at least some extra info!

Anyhow, just wanted to let everyone know about that update; and if 'ya choose to do it, I thank you in advance for that extra vote of confidence in me!

So if I understand correctly, even though we have to pay less (9% for me) you will still get the same amount of money, but the additional costs (parteon fee/taxes) are reduced?

Taxes themselves'll effectively have the same total result, but yes the Patreon Fee will take a lesser relative chunk because of the way it's made, like many other processing fees. Ex: there's a different calculation for $1-$3 compared to $4+ @ $1, we only receive 85%. $2, we receive 90%, $3 gets ~92% but starting @ $4, we receive 90% and the curve climbs 'til at about $100 we receive ~97% Now that I think about it, just as a general thing 'cuz I should actually make a post about processing fees 'cuz it's similar to a variety of sites.
