That was great. Really makes me optimistic for the future! I'll be sending this episode to friends who are curious about what ""AI"" can do for music.

thankyou! what they are building is very special and I think this episode and the adverb one give a pretty good overview of what is possible and likely to happen in the short term for the curious newbie :)

This is wild. I spent some time the past few years trying to understand music information retrieval at a lower level for driving audio reactive visuals. Having something like style transfer work real-time and polyphonically sounds mind-bendingly challenging. It’s great that they are so focused on the need to get that immediate feedback for exploring and learning what’s possible with the tool. Really does sound like something with massively transformative potential. Can’t wait to have this at the end of my Sunhouse trigger chain. So that I can practice paradiddles on the trombone.

yes trombone paradiddles!! We think they have the exact right idea, and this would sound insane on a drum trigger chain!!
