I could be wrong but I believe they’ve had Ray Charles and Willie Nelson sing America The Beautiful at Wrestlemania

For an Owen PPV - Obviously Wrestlemania 10 and Summerslam 1994 have the excellent Owen vs Bret matches and KOTR 94 has Owen win the tournament. But I'd say an outside pick could be Survivor Series 1994. Owen does have a match but isn't the focus. However he's heavily involved in the world title match and the finish as Bob Backlund's manager and cuts a promo afterwards.

For pay per views built around Owen... King of the Ring (aka How Much Does This Guy Weigh?) and the King of the Ring 1996 (I think someone said something marketable in that one). Owen is on commentary throughout the night in that one so he can interfere in the Michaels/Bulldog match. They literally swap Lawler for Owen- Jo'll love it.

Owen Hart PPVs....WrestleMania 10 comes to mind. A weird pick: Breakdown 1998. He's not a focus, but he wrestles Edge. Sort of like a bridge between generations.

The Michigan audience might have been willing to boo the Japanese flag because they blamed the rise of the auto industry there leading to plant closures and economic downturn in their area. As well as long term WW2 anger of course :D

"Keep them fighting each other for crumbs and they'll never notice we've made off with the cake!" It's the wealthy's way!

"Mom, apple pie, and the World Wrestling Federation!" Pie? From Stu Hart's kitchen? No thank you.

The moment you realize "triple-header" triggers a sense memory of the cursed triple-headed Austin...
