Hi folks! SO a few things about the episode

1) We recorded this last week, just as the #SpeakingOut movement was beginning, we've included the chat we had, mainly as it gives some of our thoughts, but forgive us if the discussion isn't reflective of the recent allegations and developments.

2) Please skip to the 21min mark if you wish to avoid this section as it contains discussion of sexual abuse.

3) AJ will be out tomorrow along with the next episode of The The Big Show Show Show!

From both of us, we know this week has been harder than most and that most weeks have already been very hard. We hope you're all looking after yourselves and if you're looking for somewhere to discuss any of the issues that have come to light, we as always recommend Team Friendship on Facebook for some sense of community during this time.

Lots of Love

Great work on the discussion on #SpeakingOut. Thanks guys.

Oh wow LOL... I’ve been backing you two a long time, and this may be the saltiest I’ve ever heard both of you be about a wrestling show (I say this in the “I was amazed at how angry you actually got” sense, not the “I disagree with your opinion” sense)

I think our general anger at the wrestling business was targeted in this moment at an underwhelming show 😅

Only on the first 15 minutes but well done to you both for the sensible and intelligent discussion. Hopefully similar conversations are going on at every wrestling company in the world this week and into the future.

I saw a tweet after the Jeff vs sheamus match that said the crowd was chanting "Urine Trouble" as opposed to "You're in trouble" and it cracked me up.

Great chat at the start here. I've not yet heard the AJ episode so maybe the discussion exists in the main feed in some sense already, but I think the high quality of this discussion warrants a wider audience. Would you consider just releasing that section of the pod?

As painful as it is to find out bad things about the performers you love, its very important to share and I'm glad you get into it. Also glad you highlight that it's a case by case issue, which might be why you don't delve into specifics. But for those of us who don't really follow (non-kayfabe) wrestling news, could you provide some informative links, where to find this list of allegations you talked about? Maybe write an article about it for the site?

As someone who used to frequent UK shows, it's been an intense week discovering so many of the guys I had not only watched, but met and perceived as 'nice', are serious serial-abusers. I live and work in the same town of the founder of Southside Wrestling , so it was fairly common to see wrestlers just wandering about our relatively small town. Really glad to hear you guys discuss this in a way that's absolutely necessary right now, can't imagine how difficult it must be to talk about such topics on record, knowing a number of people will be listening and taking note.
