Update time!

Game design is often about compromises, while I want players to have full use of the rollback feature, it’s been brought to my attention that it can be (and is) used to basically brute force your way through the girls mood system. I want players to actually engage with this system as it’s kind of the meat of the whole “body language” thing this game is going for, so I disabled rollback for that segment as a compromise, I think it's worth the small inconvenience but as always, your feedback on that choice is welcome.

Other than that, this week was mostly about the invisible and not very interesting process of going through bug reports, fixing small things, making minor changes and basically doing grunt work. It’s an inevitable part of game dev but it doesn’t make for fascinating updates :)

I got some very helpful feedback from DroidProductions (go play their stuff and new game) that basically meant I had to go over every dialogue in the game and change the way sprites were placed. I think the end result looks better but I’d love to hear what you think about it.

That’s it for this week, next week is going to be focused on preparing the other girls mood system for implementation, I want to have at least the mood system up and running for all three girls before I make a public release of the game, so that’s the priority for now.

Have a great week!
