Hey everyone, FoxBytes here! I'm super excited to share the progress I've made with the battle system. It's still very much in Alpha but it was all made from scratch (along with the story progression system) so I'm very happy with it. So far I've added:

Health system - Dynamic hp bars, text, deaths ect...

Love Point effect triggers! - Based on your current relationships with characters, certain events will happen during combat.

Example: Grizz gains an extra stack of blocking if you have 3 Love Points with him during the fight. (see picture above). This system has so much potential to be added to and made into an even more fun mechanic!

Buff system - "Buffs" are beneficial effects for team during combat.

Example: Grizz will not allow the team to take damage as long as he has a stack of Blocking up. 

Charging attack system - Sometimes it's worth the wait!

Example: Rein will fire a powerful Aimed Shot after two turns of aiming.

I want to thank you guys for supporting me and the making of Uncommon Breed. It's about much more then the money. Knowing there are people out there that care about the game motivates me to draw/write/program after work and on the weekends. Just know I'm working extra hard to get the first playable demo out as quickly as possible but I also want it to be polished and accurately represent me and my intentions. So again, thank you for your support and patience!
