Back to basics, 2 of the 12 principles of animation. Acceleration is the alteration of velocity, in the real world the movement of things are conditioned by forces like gravity, inertia and plasticity. Acceleration and deceleration is one of basic keys to achieve quality animations.

Arcs is a quite more advanced principle, most movements in real life describes curves on their motion. Rounded and smooth movements are nicer for the eye, so a way to get quality and eye-catchy animations is to refine al movement lines to curved trajectories.

Another thing, since these animation tech tips are patrons only content, I´m going to try to make all of them nsfw, you know what I mean.
