Definitely getting the sense part of Katie's problem is the isolation of her position. Everyone else gets to have "fun" or at least the ones like Carla and the greedy ladies in the Candy forest area get to have fun and she's stuck cleaning up messes.

Yeah, isolation and having to take on more work than is meant for one person to handle! I wanted a bit of a sense that this place is starting to be held together by a string with too many "human resources" and not enough staff.

Hope this means we'll be seeing more of the other girls/sweets in the future. I really like Carrie and the Candy Corn one was so fascinating, it's a shame we've never gotten a good up close look at how she looks now. Honestly as much as I like inflation/transformation I love seeing the "victims" living their new juicy or sugar filled lives more.

I appreciate the little detail of Katie kicking off her shoes, trying to relax at her desk. Other thoughts: I do wonder who is Whitt's boss? And when exactly is this taking place? Is it chronologically the furthest out of any Whacky Candy comics at this point?

From what I suspect, the current timeline is that What-A-Melon would be last since we get a peek of Katie being allowed outside the factory, but how we get to that point will probably be revealed in this comic.
