The foil covering was something that evolved the more pages I drew. At first, I figured it's all reflective and there's a light source bouncing around so I went light on the inks. Later on, I felt it just looked better with some more blacks in there. Luckily it's not hard to touch pages up digitally. But anywho, it's purpose here is not to hide heat but to disguise the pattern of it.
