I think it knew what was happening so sabotaged the machine and is playing dead to then latch back on to fayes to fatten her up even bigger

I really like Fayes as a character. WG fiction character types tend to fall into 'loves it', 'hates it', and 'completely oblivious' - someone who's aware of it but is simply observing in this cool, detached way is very original and appealing.

Really curious to see how Fayes reacts when it inevitably starts trying to feed her again. She just can't seem to catch a break. Maybe the 6 cup sizes she's gone up will make up for all of it.
