If I had to guess, Carol snuck in and got rid of the Loompettes or they left Carrie alone in a gluttonous daze as she digested and Carol snapped her out of it and told her they’re escaping and they need Katie to do it so they found her room and are about to bag and gag her especially since she’s in a very easy condition to capture.
