Metro and Noel who look at me dumbfoundedly from a little ways away. Well, it's thanks to the God's Fragment that the Beastfolk had possessed that I became capable of using it though.

As for my appearance, although it looks like I'm wearing an ebony mantle, it's an abyss of darkness that sucks in everything that touches it. I expand that darkness.

The expanding darkness, is expanding with me in the centre and advancing on the ground with the collapsed houses and trees. And then, there are cracking sounds from somewhere near me, and the collapsed houses are collapsing further and sinking into my expanding darkness.

"Tch, I don't know what he intends to do, but we're gonna stop him!"

"Yes!"

Noel and Metro who look at such me and head over. Aren't I totally the enemy with the way they put it. Well, it's not unthinkable for someone to think that way if they saw this sight though.

"Haa!"

Just as I thought the clad-in-light Noel disappeared in a burst of light, he's there before my eyes before I knew it and swings his Holy Sword down at me. I suppose I wouldn't be able to react and would've been sliced if it was the me before I used this technique, but now after I Dark Deified, I don't pale in comparison to them.

I move the darkness towards Noel with just my eyes. Noel swings his Holy Sword down at me despite making a confused expression at that sight. However, the Holy Sword didn't reach me.

"Wha-!?"

It's because the hand that grabs the Holy Sword Noel swung down, came out from the darkness I'm clad in. An arm dyed in ebony, is fighting back fearlessly despite grabbing the Holy Sword.

"Go, Mad Demon"

And then, a living creature dyed in darkness showed itself from the darkness and headed towards Noel. For the foundation of its body, I'm using the bones of the Beastfolks I killed just now. I clad those bones in the darkness formed through Black Deification and created it.

I know that just one of it won't be able to win Noel, but I can make it take him on for a bit. In the meantime, I

"Explosive Flame Fist!"

shall take on Metro. Metro, who clad his fist in flames, swings down for my face. I caught and stopped that with my left palm. I felt in my palm around the same amount of force as when I caught it with both arms just now, but the darkness absorbed the force of the fist without being burned.

"I'm returning it"

"Wha-, uoh!?"

Metro makes a confused expression for an instant as well, but in the next instant, he dodges the flame shockwave that flew out from around my chest in surprise. Although this is simply my darkness absorbing the flame he released and returning it, it's quite convenient huh.

Metro launches his attack on me despite saying that. Although that firepower that ends up turning a person's body into ashes in an instant is amazing, it seems to be a bad match-up against me.

I absorb all the impact and flame released from his punches and kicks with the darkness and return all of them. Furthermore, I don't just return them, I add on the power of darkness and strengthen them.

It consumes quite a bit of Magic Power, but it's all within the margin of error. It's worth it if I can so easily block their attacks which are heavy each and every single one of them.

"I'll return this as well while I'm at it"

I, release the houses' rubbles that I absorbed just now at Metro, who distanced himself a bit. Naturally, ones that I clad in darkness and strengthened. Metro erects fire pillars around himself and incinerates the rubbles that fly over at him.

"Holy Light Slash!!"

As I'm focusing on Metro, I sense a powerful Magic Power heading over here. The Magic Power that flies over is a shining slash. There was the figure of the Mad Demon that had turned into dust on the other side. It ended up being defeated huh.

Like it's matching the slash that flies over for me, I also sense the Magic Power from the direction of Metro, who'd blocked the rubbles clad in darkness.

"Explosive Flame Adamantine Dragon Fist!!"

A flame in the shape of a Dragon heads towards me. A slash of light alongside a Dragon of flame. The former me would've been killed instantly even by just either of them. I'm really glad I managed to power up.

"Black Vortex"

When I held my hand high up, liquid-like darkness splurted out and manifested a whirlpool in the skies. And then, it catches and stops the slash and Dragon. As expected, it feels like it'll be painful to catch it without doing anything.

The absurd Magic Power are fighting against each other to the extent that it warps the space. Although I have all kinds of things I want to say to the two who release a technique with this much Magic Power, the word I'll convey to them for the time being is......thanks.

I pour in even more Magic Power and change the Black Vortex's size. Into a size that can cover this very country entirely if you combine two of it. And then, it swallows the released slash and Dragon.

I combine those two inside the darkness and add on the power of darkness on top of that.

"Dragon Slash Flame Black Wave"

I release that combined power at Metro and Noel respectively. I suppose it's a technique both of them had confidence in. Perhaps they didn't think that on top of it being returned, it'd actually be returned as a technique stronger than theirs, they didn't make it in time to defend and got blown away.

Well, just as I thought of hitting them while they're down since I know they won't die with something of this extent, the stone I'd place in my bosom shakes. It's the Transmission Gem I had Chrono make. It's a convenient item that can send your words even if you're somewhere far away.
