Patreon sent out an email letting people know that they are experiencing a higher than usual number of declined payments, which they say is due to some changes with one of their payment processors. If your payment has been declined, they recommend doing the following.

  1. Contact your card issuer to confirm the charge is valid and retry that card
  2. If the retry does not work, try a different payment method. Patrons can edit their payments in their Settings, under Billing History.
