This weekend I'll be at MACE 2019! Its a Tabletop Gaming Convention in Charlotte NC (meet up anyone?) and on Friday at 9pm EST Danny Herrero will host a panel where we'll answer question from our patrons about 3D printing, modeling, and anything else they've always wondered.

So, do you guys have any questions? i know the Discord is a pretty open forum and most of you probably already know everything you need, but ask away and I'll pick the 5 to 15 questions to answer at the panel. It'll be recorded too so you'll see it posted here later. Thanks and hopefully it'll be a good event!

You forgot the ":" behind the https to make that link work ;)

The biggest thing I'd like to hear about is best practices for clearing off support material. I often end up breaking my models that printed out well otherwise. Tools, approach, etc. I have a FDM printer.

Both me and my ham fingers are following for this reply too!

I assume you are already using tree supports?

Testing them out now. Doesn't feel like it addresses my question exactly. Even with tree supports enabled a model like the dire badger has a lot of support material under its belly and surrounded by four legs I don't want to destroy. Hence why I asked about tools and approach to removing the support material in delicate places.

Pardon, dire otter.

Sadly the session could not be recorded due to logistical issues. I do not. I use line supports with roofs and floors turned on.
