So I went ahead tonight and printed my updated wolf after getting some complaints on it being a tough print. It printed fine but there were some observations I feel worth mentioning.

The trick was to print it slow at 30mm. Everything 30mm, including the travel speed. The supports were at 10% and were in line format, with no roof or floor. The infill was at 20% and I used a raft.

So it def can be done. My apologies for this being a tough one, but slow printing does make the difference. Just felt like sharing :-)

My advice is, if you are printing on a FDM, tilt it back 45 degrees. It then requires much less supports and the legs become a bit stronger as the layers aren’t horizontally across the body which makes them slightly more resistant to just snapping at ankles as easily

You know that's something I do in resin, but I never considered in FDM. That's an interesting trick and I'll give it a shot :-)

to be honest, that's how I print nearly every mini now. Plus makes their front side print without any supports touching it to mar it. So its a win win!

Why do you use a raft at all, I have never on my Prusa. You should try to use the new prusa profiles from slic3r the 0.07 mm ultra detail profile works amazingly well

will have to test one or more of these settings at some point.

I like rafts since it ensures the print doesn't rip off the plate. Probably not necessary for something as small as this though.
