Hello friends! Today I worked on requests and got to work on this gigantic mini, the Scion of Stronmaus. In game she's supposed to be 80 ft tall so that is without a doubt the tallest mini I've ever modeled. The detail game had to go up a notch given how big this lady is, so the files are huge. Too huge to all fit here, so here is a link to all the files in the Google Drive.  I made a new "Bigby Presents - Glory of Giants" folder in the main drive for future minis from this book whenever requests come for it.

I very much enjoyed sculpting her up, and making a watery base for her was interesting. I never made a water effect of this nature but I think I did ok. The water dress was a lot of fun as was sculpting the lightning effects in her hair :)

Given how enormous this lady is, this is also an FDM only model thus I split her up to the best of my ability. In theory her pieces could fit in a large resin printer, but sadly my computer couldn't handle the calculations for making this presupported and it just kept crashing. But hey I supply the files for this reason so maybe you'll have better luck if you want to spend all that resin on this haha.

I laid the pieces down for optimal FDM printing regardless. The most complicated part would be her torso due to her lightning hair. I recommend printing this part on her back with organic supports so you can pull off the supports from the bolts pretty easily. However if any break, you can easily use paper clip wires to make lightning bolts. Once primed and painted you'd be surprised how much you can make paper clip wires look like lightning once manipulated well enough :)

More to come tomorrow! Enjoy!
