Hello everyone! Whew! This was a lot of work but the Wasp Ship is ready for 3D printing! This was a wild mix of modeling, sculpting and basic engineering work given it was very hard to figure out how the wings would work. I made an interior space for the ship that lines up with the map, and there is also a tiny version of the ship ready for ship to ship encounters!

When it comes to the wings, the little keys ( square holes and pegs ) are not strong enough to hold this together by itself. You must use a strong adhesive to keep them together. The keys are there more to guide you so they line up right when you glue them together. For gluing I HIGHLY recommend you use Gloop. Its an amazing adhesive that chemically reacts to PLA or ABS quickly creating a seal that's unbreakable. I use this all the time to fix my prints and it worked wonders when I printed the Galleon.

My take on the Wasp Ship is unofficial Fan Content permitted under the Fan Content Policy. Not approved/endorsed by Wizards. Portions of the materials used are property of Wizards of the Coast. ©Wizards of the Coast LLC.

So that's that for the Spelljammer Ships! I think I'll keep working on this book once a week when I treat myself to one day of creative freedom but we'll see. Tomorrow I'm going to work on more requests so expect some very random stuff. Stay tuned!

Amazing! Is there anyway you can make the main hull 2 pieces? Its like 2 inches short on my Saturn 3

Thanks! How come that's it for Spelljammer ships? There's still dozens of iconic ones that would be great to see!

Because that's all there is in the official book. If you want more you can put one in the request board and I'll eventually get to it :)
