Japanese Minis: The Samurai! (Patreon)

Hello everyone! Jen and I are currently in Osaka and its been a lovely time so far. The jet lag is mostly gone and we've met up with friends to see some lovely sights. I'm not much of a beer person but boy they sure know what they're doing here on that department haha.
But anyway, I had some down time yesterday and today so I was able to finish the Samurai minis! I made two melee poses and one ranged pose all while learning how this armor functioned and is put on. I found it to be quite fascinating how some of the metal plates are built into the fabric all while making it a very comfortable experience. And mobile too. Also the Yumi long bow is massive!
I'd be careful printing this one. For resin users the usual presupported files are up. For FDM I recommend printing them on their backs with the katana pointed upward. The ranged version will be tough but on its side will be the best results. Use a flushed clipper to remove the supports there.
The masks and helmet crests are separate objects in blender for when I make other masks and crests in the future. I picked some standard ones this time but if you want to add different ones you're more than welcome to.
Ok that's all for now. The next mini I want to make is a Kitsune Spirit. Its a lovely looking fox spirit with nine tails that I always wanted to make. I figure in a day or two it'll be ready but we'll see. I am focusing on enjoying my time here don't you worry haha. Take care friends!
