Yoko - Final Design? (Patreon)

Cassandra and friends always came off pretty anime to me, but as I've said in the past, Yoko always seemed a little off. But- I think I've finally got it. I remembered that someone mentioned they missed Yoko's bigger, fuller eyes. And I went back and forth with this.

I really felt Komi (From KOMI CAN'T COMMUNICATE) had the kind of look I was going for, but Komi had a look I wasn't trying to emulate. So I took a look at her eyes and they were just DOTS. BIG DOTS. The artist sometimes adds a pupil in there on extreme closeups, but usually, they're Archie styled dots, with some shading taking off the bottom.

So- I decided to just... try and take detail away, instead of adding detail. And we came to this, and I kind of love it. It feels more like her original design, and makes her look younger and more fragile.

As for Cassandra and her classmate's design seem- well, perfect to me, so they aren't undergoing any changes.
