Losing Patrons - My Dilemma (Patreon)

So, I noticed lately that my patrons have been in decline. Maybe because a bunch of people jumped on board with the yearly plans, which may or may not show up on the monthly Number.

I know my art has been improving, and the last few months I feel I’ve been doing more content than usual.

More importantly , gas prices have shot through the roof, so there’s that too!

But I’ve had people suggest I run a crowdfunding or Patreon type of situation for animations (I think they mean like animated episodes!)/games, but if feels weird asking for more when:

1. People are financially hurting across the board right now.

2. You’re already supporting me with what $$$ you give, and work is work, so why ask for more?

Also, whenever I turn to bigger projects now I have to abandon them when I lose Patrons because I have nothing for them in the meantime.

Any thoughts or helpful ideas would be very much appreciated!!!
