Uno arrives to current timeline.

"I'm around 10 years earlier from the catastrophy, good"

"This much power required so many inevitable sacrifices, both who were willing and not perished."

How many worlds have been destroyed, lives lost through repeating? I'm uncertain, I've lost count. But I haven't forgotten the faces of the Monkes that I relied on and relied on me. I was once a simple Monke minding my own business and my own life, but now, life of this world depends on me. I won't let this world fall again.

Strych encounters his first Druid during a field trip at the museum. After seeing one of those creatures, a spark began to shine causing him to study Druids. Why did he? He doesn't know either, not yet atleast.

...

Uno goes home to his parents. He was supposed to be a casualty from bloon anomaly but VSTG Uno replaced himself.

Uno's parents were surprised when he got back earlier than expected. Despite having seen his parents' reaction countless times, he was happy.

Vanilla and Strych stationed in the same defense area. Too many got passed the defense threshold. Bloons started to scatter and dive bomb on the towers. One of the victims is an un-upgraded Vanilla. Before he was trampled, someone yelled him to move.

Vanilla wakes up, greeted by his worried siblings. He finds out he was brought back to Mother Tree 2 days ago. He asked who carried him back to Mother Tree.

"W-who carried me here?

"The representatives from the rescue squad."

"No... before that?" Vanilla regretted not being able to ask for his saviour's name. Druid rushes out the bed despite having a splint and gets scolded by his Sister Doctor.

Vanilla remembered seeing a vivid image of spiky hair, an alchemist's potion scent, and goggles with black straps. The Druid was worried if that person didn't make it with him, Vanilla was derermined to thank him.

The Druid asked around the nearest Alchemist outposts and institutions. There was a good chance of finding that person since he had a particularly distinct look from other Alchemist, if they are alive.

At the end of the day, Vanilla thought it would take a few days. "Probably ask the deployment officer about the Alchemists who were deployed with me."

He found himself in a park during the sunset, not so far from Mother Tree. Pondering to himself, why would anyone be crazy enough to dig someone out while being dive bombed by Moabs. 'Must be an amazing person, I'd like to make him my friend.'

He found himself limping to sit down on a bench. The noise of the park was starting to fade as the sun was setting. He should get back to Mother Tree but he was a Druid Tower, permitted to be out of Mother Tree for a long amount of time.

Someone sat on the other end of the bench, complaining about something, but Vanilla ignored it.

"I can't work when my fcking arm's busted" the person disturbed the Druid's peace. But he didn't mind, anyone can sit on the bench, granted the space.

Druid started to plan to take on tomorrow when searching for the Alchemist, alas it was disturbed again.

"Hey, where'd you screw up your legs?"

The person who sat next to the Druid asked. Druid glanced and answered respectfully, "Moab dive bombs."

"Ah..."

It took a moment but Vanilla scanned the person near him, an Alchemist. He had looked at enough Alchemists for today but he was too determined to ignore a possibility. The person sat with a carefree manner while supporting his wrapped arm. What stood out was his orange Alchemist coat with golden accents, the spiky hair which was uncommon amongst their kind of tower, and the goggles on top of his head. Druid was too exhuasted, and disregarded the details rather easily.

'He might be a ruffian, the one who saved me was very careful...'

"I got rammed by a fortified bloon. Full speed, yowch." Again, interrupted the line of thoughts.

"Hm... I hope you a speedy recovery." Druid can't help but feel a bit frustrated and sorry for his seat mate.

"Thanks." The Alchemist sighed and slumped, shaking the bench.

This Alchemist had a peculiar aura to him, a sort of person Druid thought he wouldn't get along with. But maybe it's too early to judge. 'I'm just tired, why am I being so sensitive?'

"So... if a Moab dive bombed on you, and screwed up your legs. Who got you out?"

"I'm not certain but my siblings told me I was brought back by a member of the Rescue Squad"

"Cool, I was carrying someone on my back when I got hit. The guy was so damn heavy, I had to run through bloons. I don't even know how I'm still alive. But here I am."

That reply hit Druid instantly.

"Who were you carrying in the middle of all that?"

"Oh, looked like a Druid, his name was... uh" the Alchemist pinched the bridge of his nose trying to remember his luggage's name.

"Vanilla" the Alchemist was proud of himself.

At this moment, Druid was enlightened by this unexpected encounter. His saviour, he finally found him...

"He was so heavy, what the hell, Druids are heavier than they look, seesh."

It took a full 180, in that moment, Alchemist was describing was none other than the person having the conversation with him.

'...'

Vanilla didn't know how to feel, he had a moment of rollecoastery emotions, 'Was that how they say it?'.

"Anyway, he was soft, no homo--."

"That was me, Vanilla, Summer."

Despite the Alchemist's first bad impression, Druid's gratitude overweighed the annoyance.

Alchemist had been visibly surprised.

"I thought my fate was to be burried alive in all those stones in the dark. But you got me out. I never got to ask your name."

Silence, the Alchemist looked speechless.

"Strych"

Vanilla was overwhelmed with relief. He didn't plan too far ahead when he finally meets his saviour. However, he would've like the Alchemist to meet his siblings and Mother Tree.

"Can you introduce me to a Druid chick?"

Druid and Alchem have been working on a research to improve potions. Despite Vanilla disliking Strych's teasing, the Alchemist had a poisnous charm to him. Druid Volunteered to be Alchemists private herbalist.

But, time went by, when Alchem got familiar with Vanilla and Vanilla got familiar with him. They were practically best friends already. Vanilla was of great help with his strength and herbal knowledge, this made Strych's job easier when he needed it most. Strych was happy to have a companion who was willing to help him.

Afterwards, Strych took the opportunity to ask if Vanilla could help him get a Druid chick again. That's when it started. Vanilla agreed to help him, he was happy to do so since he did save his life.

"Maybe we can meet your same season sisters? The other season Druids are just not liking me... I guess?"

"Why not? Maybe my sisters would like you, haha!" Vanilla once said.

However, none of the Druids Vanilla had asked weren't interested in the Alchemist. Strych was devastated.

"Aw man, Druids are strict with outsiders, that was unexpected." Strych sighed, but he already returned to his calm demeanor.

Vanilla sheepisly laughed. Sudden thoughts came into mind, 'Did I purposely introduce him to Druids that didn't like him?'. Vanilla slapped himself.

"If they don't like me, you're the only one who must like me then."

Vanilla's ears perked up. Did he hear that right? He gave an immidiate respone, "I do like you" came out of his mouth.

Strych had paused

Vanilla noticed and panicked internally, was that his honest thoughts or what, Strych can be a troll but he is inspiring... and smart... and a lot of other things too.

"Thanks" Strych said in reply.

Vanilla suddenly felt a blast of joy sprout in him. Just like when he was saved by the Alchemist.

"As friends right?" Strych snickered and turned to look at Vanilla.

Vanilla's face frowned with a red tint on his cheeks. "What?!"

"What?" Strych replied.

"You jerk"

Strych laughed and went closer to an annoyed Vanilla.

"What did you think? That I like, like you?"

"..."

"I do"

Vanilla's face lit up

"I'm pretty open-minded, that's if it's ok with you" Strych chuckled.

Vanilla was in a swirl of emotions and the only reply Strych recieved was a playful punch on his shoulder.

"Ow you prick! What was that for?" Strych wheezed.

"You're a jerk y'know that, you almost gave me false hope... but I'm glad." Vanilla pouted.

That's when it really started.
