Hey there guys,

I’m very happy to give you this Whitewater Mountain Pass set with a dangling rope bridge across the chasm below. This creation features steep and hard to climb cliffs, several elevation differences and covers, a rushing river beneath and a rickety, foul-looking rope bridge as the only option to cross to the other ledge. The slippery slopes provide a near-impossible problem even to experienced climbers, the shallow waters could shatter any boat.

Sherpas charge good money for taking travelers up here to see all the breathtaking landscapes this spot has to offer. Little do they know that a dissident tribe of a remote mountain folk is in search of a new home in this part of the region. The nomads very rarely converse with others, let alone agree to trade goods or information. They are however, in good terms with the mischievous fey of the rocks and even know of the eldritch mountain spirits who have been here since when the tectonic plates began to crush and crease.

This newest location of Dynamic Dungeons also fits nicely in the Mountain Ledge Trail set in style. This set comes with a snow-covered version for an even more chilling adventure, titled Winter Mountain Pass, and I made ‘damaged’ versions of both regular and winter themed maps with the rope bridge already snapped and hanging down the side of the mountain in need of immediate reparation.

Why this misfortune might have happened and also how to overcome this obstacle I must leave up to your imagination.

As always, I’m happy to read your comments on the maps and even on how you used them in your games. You got some other ideas, too?  Looking forward.

Thank you! In fact I was about to ask that would be awesome if in some maps you deliver the layers separated. For example, there are some shadowfell weather layers that would be great to have them separated. I use many props in the maps and having a weather layer (shadows, lighting, etc) over makes the difference. Otherwise the props look like stickers on the screen 😄

Amazing! I have a suggestion for a future map: catacombs! My players are going to be exploring a lizardfolk city built over old catacombs sometime during the campaign. Having something like a special burial chamber or a tunnel would be really cool!
