MIRKWOOD ENCOUNTERS with a 3d printable portal (CG tier level) - Collaboration with Black Scrolls Games (Patreon)

In 2019 I made a map pack with the title Old Forest, inspired by the dark Mirkwood forest from the Hobbit, and I was very satisfied with how it looked.

Well... with hindsight, I am not so taken aback anymore as I see many of its flaws. Now, with four years of experience, I decided to revisit the topic.

And now, looking at these new maps, I am very satisfied again (imagine what an awesome version is yet to come in 2028!) :D

Jokes aside, this is exactly that dark, tangled, and densely grown forest I wanted to create back then, but now I have the skills and technical opportunities to actually make it happen. This couldn’t have been made possible without your support, so thank you so much.

I also made a version that has a portal on it, in case you wanted your players to spawn in the middle of this sinister woods.

There is also an exclusive version made for adventurers to have a chance of getting warmed up beside a campfire. (Will be sent out tomorrow including last month's exclusives to those who support every or 3 creations.)

It’s been an extra great joy working on these maps, so they are to be continued, hope you don’t mind. Let’s think together about how I can make the upcoming locations even more interesting. A dark cavern or hut, maybe some source of magical energy?
