We all know that basic mats are very useful when we need to quickly set up a grid for an encounter and let our players imagine the scene or to use 3d printed or crafted props on the TV.
This time I created generic battle grids again, in desert theme. This pack contains 3 different animated maps, you'll find sandstorm and twister scenes, a dragon skeleton, and 4 static backgrounds, most of them in day and night versions, AND...

...I'm super excited to announce that I'm going to release 3D printable assets that fit the animated maps.

In addition to this desert pack, you find a cactus set in the shared folder with 3 different types of cactuses:

These test prints were made with an AnyCubic Photon S resin printer, so all models are tested.

This new reward is still experimental, but if we hit the 20K stretch goal, CG Patrons, who support all 3 creations of the month can expect 3D printable files that fit the themes.

I also adjusted the color of the rocks I made for the Avernus pack, you'll find them in the props subfolder.
I hope you like these maps and also the 3d models. Thank you for your continued support!

I'm very happy to be new here! My group is building our TV Table and these are all going to make our game sessions epic! I'll stick around at the CG tier as long as you keep making these! TYVM!

This is a fantastic idea! I love digital maps but always want options to add 3D terrain.

Love the idea of 3d printable assets - well done

I get a "Download Quota" reached error when downloading, is that normal high traffic on initial post? Just curious as I can come back and get later.

YES YES YES to 3D props!!!! Other 3D props that would be lovely to see one day....Pillars, Doors/Entryways, Trees.

TYVM. For what it's worth it may not be entirely necessary to reinvent the wheel as many props can be found on Thingiverse, MyMiniFactory, etc...but internally sourcing certainly add value to the patreon sub. I think it's reasonable to even post props that you see pair well on these other sites.

Can we have a snowy version of this please?

Where I do like the idea of the 3D props, they are useless if you don't have a printer. I'd much prefer to have a .png prop that I can use with the DD software. Possible to give both options?

Charly did you just ask for a snowy version of the desert maps?

dynamicdungeons

I think the request is about the dragon skeleton scene. Btw, I’ll expand our animated grids with snowy and icy versions soon.

These maps are great. Thanks for the STL file props too. I thought there was going to be another update coming out after the 3.3 dynamic dungeons update. I don't see a link for the update. Please advise on the update. Thanks.

We are still polishing the software and fixing the last minor bugs, but we are very close to releasing. Thank you for your patience and support.
