Dear All,

The next reward of the month would have been the second installment of the most voted modular dungeon tiles and animation, but given the current measures, I decided to give it out for free, with my humble means of contributing to having fun in this - hopefully temporary - period.

I redesigned the content of the previous set by giving a nice texture to the tiles and added 80 additional elements, resulting in a mega pack of OVER 100 ITEMS!

These modular elements can be used not only with Dynamic Dungeons Editor but with any VTT. The content of the two attached archives is the same, using the "fullres" is maybe more demanding for your computer. (I also wanted to release DD EDitor 3.2.3. free upgrade today but we're still working on fixing some annoying bugs and we still need few days to solve all of the issues. Not only bug fixes but cool new features are coming as well, like "undo", improved all-direction prop scaling, improved shadow settings and presets, faster thumbnail generation and more, thank you for your patience)

I am very curious about what kind of dungeons you build from these, so please share the pictures in the community section, also give me ideas about what kind of animations should I add to this set in the future.

My self-isolation also has benefits because I can't do anything else but creating maps. I’m not just working on the highest rated themes of the poll, but I will create all of the themes and the most inspiring suggestions, too.

Download the zips attached to this post, or find them the complete pack in the shared folder: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1VgXsFInkZjGbW2y-XOHjera3OqkX0sIN

Take care of yourselves and your loved ones!

is there a link to a google drive folder, where I can download all at once? I mean archive, it's not comfortable to click and download every single one of them :(

Anonymous

Yes, I would like a complete archive too, if you could do this!

Is one of the bugs being able to set props to Global? I can't get that to work and the set to global in the editor for the prop menu isn't working. Thanks!

Great work. Thank you

Hi, thx for your job man, it's amazing ! I remember that there was any animated props like storm, a runic circle, etc. impossible to find.. have you delete these elements ? I dream that you add any elements like a fountain, any showcases, stairs for street, etc. Continue, I support you to 1000% !!

Thanks for this. Take care.

I haven't tried the latest version, but is there any way to make the tiled thumbnail screen bigger? It's hard to choose the best tile when it's similar scenery and not a hard set directional dungeon. Also, was the color bug fixed where the colors are washed out on a second monitor in Windows?

dynamicdungeons

We reworked the thumbnail generation process, so the entire image will be visible in the thumbnail, not just a part of it. Colors are different in Editor because it can't read the embedded color profile, so we decided to implement scene saturation/hue/tint/contrast sliders to the scene editor, so you'll be able to get the best look of the backgrounds or even completely modify the look of them. Itt will be implemented in 3.2.4, not in the upcoming 3.2.3 which is coming in few days.

Just checked the archive and it appears the animated props (eg. webs) are still .animation files so I'm guessing they can only be used in the DD editor? Still really hoping we can get some webm versions of those :)

dynamicdungeons

I’m just converting the animations to webm and gif. Roll20 handles animations (webm and gifs) so badly, or is it just for me? I can’t even upload a file which is smaller than 1 Mb. Astral Tabletop on the other hand looks promising.

Evan Clarke

I use Foundry VTT. so I'm not sure about Astral. When you say you are converting to webm and gif, are those files in the package, because that would be great!

Is there a way to "create" thumbnails? I have several images without them and would like to add the missing ones I do not have. Thanks for any response in advance!

Anonymous

I use Arkenforge, and they support gif and apng. Can't find anything on google to help convert a .animation file to something I can use, unfortunately. Everything else is great, though.

Anonymous

thank you for this!!! and yes, *.webm would be great! ...

dynamicdungeons

Hi, you can go to CONFIG/MEDIA in Editor, scroll down and set the background or prop generation to "Generate it every time I launch Editor". After restarting, it'll try to recreate the thumbnails. If it's still missing, you can manually put a same name png file into the thumbnail subfolder.

We need more like this pack, I love being able to buy a module (Tomb of Annihilation) and building the dungeons in the module for our up and coming new campaign! Would love to see more free and easy module pieces to customize our own dungeons to match modules! Keep up the good work!

I saw a video with someone like making printed out tiles of this has anyone seen that I can’t seem to find it now.

Hey i have a question, I'm looking for a small pond prop, or something i can use to signify some water in the corner of a cave. If anyone knows which pack may have what I'm looking for, it would be greatly appreciated! :)
