This is an exclusive reward for you, generous chaotic good supporter. As you may noticed my next goal is about releasing 4k videos, and we are quite close to it, thanks to your donation. My current setup not strong enough to render every map in 4kUHD/60fps, but I solved it for these ones to show you how amazingly detailed are the 4k videos.

Of course all reward will also come in FULL HD as usual, in better quality, thanks to the higher bitrate settings during rendering.

I've decided no to put any background music under these files, because you can find nice tavern ambiences and medieval music on YouTube to make the perfect atmosphere.

Some free sounds available under an "Attribution license" were used in this video from freesound.org, so I hereby would like to give credit to  alex@vsi.tv

The_Roaring_Pony_full4K_UHD_full_grid.m4v has a smaller filesize than The_Roaring_Pony_full_HD_GRIDLESS.m4v

I have run into a crash on my system when using the 4k maps. everytime I am using the player and I try to switch from a regular hd map in the grid, to one of the 4k ones the player stops responding and has to be closed down

This version of the player doesn’t support the UHD maps, only Hd maps. For UHD I suggest to use a mediaplayer like QuickTime player, which can play it back seamlessly when looping.

4k in my opinion is completely unnecessary, I doubt most of us will be running more than 1080p

So, we used The Drunken Goat and the player this past Saturday and my players loved it. They were especially impressed by the Fog of War (which we applied to other maps). Really enjoyed it. Some feedback-- 1) it was difficult to remove the fog not knowing what was under it precisely, so the "DM's View" that is coming will be greatly appreciated. 2) We used a lot of locations that weren't "immediately connected" as a dungeon would be but which were just the next important places the PCs went. I got lost and had to close out and open the editor a few times to see where on the grid they were. A "map" for the DM wouldn't be bad. And finally 3) we imported maps from other sources to supplement the adventure. Is there a way to scale these up and down on the monitor? They always scaled to fill the screen which often made the grid less than 1" per square. A way to zoom in and out on the player would be greatly appreciated. These are just suggestions. Really appreciate this and your maps!

I think it would be interesting to see how many people are making use of 4K maps. At the moment I'm not, and am completely satisfied with HD. The occasional bonus map is a better incentive for me.

I keep focusing to HD because it’s enough for most of us. 4k maps are coming not instead of bonus maps but besides, and not all of the maps will be rendered in 4k. I already work in UHD so it’s basically not an extra effort to render some of the maps in higher resolution.

There's a Roaring Pony full4K Grid here but not gridless. Would it be possible to acquire a gridless version?

Is there a static version of this Inn?
