played around with many ideas for omi’s design concept, from the red spider lily, to origami, to the sasakia charonda butterfly! i really like the last one because:

• it is the national butterfly of Japan (or in this case, inazuma?)

• it’s purple to match his electro element

• in my culture, butterflies also symbolise death, which goes well with his weapon’s alt form, the scythe.

the alternate outerwear outfit ended up being discarded bc we love to put omi thru whorification LOL. (maybe his outfit for dragonspine~) gonna play around somemore with design elements and think about his skills!! spy his polearm-turned-scythe 👁💦
