~December 2020 update post~ (Patreon)

Hey everyone!~

It's officially December so we reached the last month of this awful year! I hope you and your loved ones are still save and sound! If you're celebrating the holidays this year, please take good care and try to take it easy this month, the year was already stressful enough and I think we all earned us a little break :)

I'd announce my holiday vacation now since I'm normally always on holiday vacation on the second half of the month, visiting friends and family which in previous years was a time where I barely did any work at all. Unfortunately due to the currenct circumstances I won't be travelling this year though and stay at home over the holidays. While this would technically give me more time to draw compared to the previous years, I've still decided to take it rather slow for this month. My country going into another lockdown in November and already having extended that into January only added to the general exhaustion that is 2020 and I already noticed I was having a hard time last month, feeling my general enjoyment in drawing mostly drained from me alot of the time. Thankfully I was still able to finish everything on my schedule without any bigger issues, which I'm very glad about! But still, the year is just really exhausting and I'm sure plenty of you will agree with that.I feel like replacing having to cancel a vacation due to a rather unpleasant reason with just constantly working is not a good thing to do especially not during holiday season and I'm honestly just really bummed I'm having to stay at home this year.

So I'll be doing a more compact workload for this month, the usual voting poll will be there of course ! But no two polls like last month. If you have any character suggestions, you can post them in the comments or in discord if there's some characters you'd like to have included in the poll! c:
Aside from that I'll mostly focus on finishing the last remaining commission plus I joined a secret Santa event to hopefully spread some holiday cheer! And of course, finish the Bellestarmon picture! But aside from that I'll just see how my motivation is treating me this month in terms of art. I do have some plans for the case that I'd end up with tons of inspiration & motivation for this month though 👀 I'll keep you guys updated on discord if the occassion arises for some of the things I have additionally planned <3 I'd love to do another batch of quick commissions since I had alot of fun working on these last month!

For the chocolate tier people, please submit your sketch idea until the 12th of the month! As usual prefered via discord and please pin your character references. I also won't be doing any point trade ins for this month aside from one bigger project that was already planned in November with the respective person. Thank you for understanding! I want to focus on finishing some other projects first for this month, if I have alot of time left in this month to work on extra stuff I'll keep you updated! <3
