June update post! (Patreon)

Hello and happy June y'all!~ ✨

Here's finally the very much delayed update post for this month, this month with an actual serious reason behind the delay for this month that I already spoke about in discord and some of my recent posts here and even dropped a little post on my twitter about.

So I had a mostly routine yearly health check up a little less than two weeks ago where I pretty much just told and showed the doctor that all of the symptoms I've been dealing with for over a year still persist and only have gotten worse, I won't be sharing personal details here for obvious reasons and it's also nothing that really intercepts with my work and the response to that was to asap get a series of specific blood tests done right in the next week (which was last week) to test for specific kind of illnesses, and especially to possibly confirm/completely rule out one possible cause for my symptoms that would've required immediate treatment and also would've added another permanent chronic illness to my portfolio along with a number of pretty unpleasant things in the future which would've been very ass and I've been lowkey very stressed over that possibility through the entire week 😬.

I'm actually glad to tell you guys that the test at least was able to rule out the worst case scenario which is good BUT unfortunately it has shown that there's indeed something going very wrong in my body that is thankfully not life threatening at least but I'll have to get more tests done to figure out the exact cause so more doctor's appointments in the near future for me 😞 My doctor has a strong suspicion for what it could be with the other most likely option ruled out but it has several causes and we gotta figure out what mine is, most likely one is excessive long term stress so there's that 🫠

EDIT: I forgot to clearly say that the worst case option was the statistically more likely one as my doctor told me, it NOT being that was the surprise, which is why I was so stressed over the whole thing.

But yeah, that's been what's going on last week, originally they told me that I get my results most likely on Tuesday but alas it ended up getting postponed by the doctor until friday after having to call every single day several times to ask if the results arrived because they did not arrive until late Thursday afternoon, stressing out a little over that because the worst case option would've pretty much changed my life permanently and kinda sleeping like absolute ass for the entire week which was poison for my chronic illness so I was pretty much kinda dead 🥲

 I was also not really in the mood to draw any kind of spice as I also prior mentioned so I ended up postponing the almost finished WIPs I've shown until I'm feeling better which will be hopefully soon! 🙏

But yeah, the prior week was super turbulent and I was catching up on missing and much needed sleep during the weekend with also the possible bad news out of the way, not too thrilled about the medical odyssey Continuing BUT everything's better than the worst case option so I take this as a win 🙌

This is pretty much why my whole schedule for this month got thrown out of the window and this post is so late, my apologies for that .🙏

I'll be hosting the voting poll for this month most likely in 1-2 days, if you have character suggestions for it, please post them in the comments below! I'll also finish up my spicy WIPs as soon as I can and am feeling it again and have lots of energy again! there's also two point trade ins scheduled for this month so I hope you guys will look forward to those! 🙏

Commission form will be re-opened later this day, will most likely only take one this month because it has gotten very late in the month already thanks to the things ™️ so I don't want to put too much work on my schedule, hope you guys understand 🥺

I will also post the submission timeframe for the reward sketches for this month later in a separate post and will most likely work on them in early July with a pretty much almost 100% guarantee for this month because I have the biggest convention I'm going to be attending this year right at the end of the month and I doubt I'll be having the time to juggle the sketches on the same weekend so just so you guys know in advance 🙏 💖

These should be the most important points for now, sorry this got kinda long but I also wanted to give you guys an update on what's been going on, there's always a serious reason behind it if my schedule gets super messed up and clear communication is important to me so you guys know I'm not just disappearing into the void. 🙏💕
