Computer troubles! Raising funds for a new computer~ (Patreon)

Hey everyone! This is going to be a bit awkward of an announcement, so I apologize if it’s nothing you’re interested in.

Earlier this week, a storm caused an outage in our area, and the resulting shock ended up frying both my computer as well as my girlfriend’s. Yep, neither of us were wise enough to have surge protectors, unfortunately… We’ve tried doing some repairs, but it doesn’t look like either of our computers will be back up and running like they used to, since they were already semi-old. While I do most of my writing from another computer, my home computer is still a place where I get other patreon-related work done.

FORTUNATELY~ we were already saving up for a new computer! A lot of the funds are already there, but we’re still a distance away from having enough for what we’re looking for. Accounting for what we’ve pooled together, we need ~$600 more, which would normally take a couple months of our usual savings rate to get to -- and, hah, I’d really rather not us both be without computers for two months.

So, as well as doing some other things to get some cash sooner rather than later… I’m coming onto Curse Crazy to ask for any additional generosity my supporters might be able to offer. I’d also want to say that a new computer has been my goal for a while, with the intent of using the up-to-date hardware to do more with the Cursey personality. I’ve really wanted to get into streaming video games as another outlet of being an entertainer and storyteller, especially as a means to open up more with my readers and discuss topics more actively! I also just think it’d be a lot of fun lol. This would really kick-jump that passion, and I hope you all might look forward to what else Cursey could be.
