Upload Notes: Shuten's Banquet (Patreon)

Revisiting the world of Fate Grand Order once again~ and reusing a concept that some of you might find familiar! Indeed, I uprooted the idea I had with Passionlip's Mission in the City -- the first non-Endless story I ever uploaded, huh! -- and used it to star Shuten at a really, really massive scale. It's basically canon now that the Summoners in FGO just have these spare pocket dimensions, so, I'll expect my check from Delightworks in the mail.

Shuten was a fun character to write for this scenario! Being giga-sized really worked for her character, someone who could be both casual and calculated about her giant size. She wants to lounge around and feel free, but she also wants to feel the thrill of power~ Shuten just has the right aesthetic to make into a world-destroying monster. Can't go unsaid that it's funny that Shuten is such a short character, and yet this is arguably the biggest scale of character I've ever worked with. Mm, that definitely makes the scenario hotter...

I had a few more ideas originally, focused on her breath and how the alcohol in it could make people drunk... It was a bit farfetched haha, I ended up compromising in ways you can probably look back and notice. I always dig the idea of a drunk giantess, but interestingly, Shuten doesn't really get slizzered, her tolerance is too good. That posed a challenge for me, since I couldn't just rely on the senselessness of a drunk to pull up scenarios. Instead I had to (groan) think and be creative with the character's personality. In the end, I think it worked out into an interesting story~

I also narrowly avoided a "feets" typo right at the end. Only noticed it right at the upload stage. Dodged a bullet there... Who knows how many times I've made that typo and just never noticed........ Feets............

Anyway, hope you guys enjoyed this fanfic~ Fate is such a great universe full of characters primed to be giant, so I'll def be using this concept again. Let me know what you all think, and thanks as always for the support~
