Also at the beginning when she was hunting the deer she was checking the wind cause she noticed the deer smelled her. She was standing down wind, so she moved on the opposite side. Also hunting at all is punishable by death.

Yes the trauma bonding is so real, and the actors convey the complexity of that relationship so beautifully. I remember being impressed upon reading the books after first seeing the films, as the script really weaves in the necessary elements in a way that doesn’t leave one feeling shortchanged.
