Some OmniV Lore Stuffs and Fun Facts yee~ (Patreon)

Ahoi y'all!~ Been a while since there was last any OmniV story stuff huh T     v T/
Here I took some time during my lil drawing break for the Christmas weekend to lay out some story info and fun facts for some upcoming characters that featured in Sofia's backstory yeyeee~

Next year, I reaaaally wanna get some finalized designs for most of them and progress the story further \T     V  T/ But for now, here we are! Some things are still subject to change but yeeeee~:

Zephyr

-The only non-Omnivoyant, non-enhanced human amongst both Rev and Sofia's OmniV teams.
-Originally from Alba before moving with her large family to Jambuki as a child (largely in part due to the MAVRO occupation of Alba). There she met and befriended DB.
-Eventually became an incredibly famous martial arts celebrity and fighter known for her fast and flashy fighting style and stylish finishing moves, much-inspired by her childhood hero 'Kasaikōri' (Hiromi's mother) whom she saw on TV, heard stories about, and idolized as a child.
-Retired not long into her career as she wished to help people as a vigilante hero like Kasaikōri did, not just using her fighting skills for entertainment.
-Wears her motorcycle helmet most of the time partially because she's had enough of recognition and fame. She wants the good deeds of the vigilante trio to be recognized and appreciated instead.
-(Somehow, she does not get helmet hair and it all still looks fabulous when she takes her helmet off... DB is jokingly convinced that she is secretly an Omnivoyant with the power of 'perfect hair all the time')

DB

-The lone Omnivoyant amongst the vigilante trio. He has the ability to create doorways to other locations throughout the world, allowing himself and others with him to teleport.
-Grew up sheltered by his parents and was frequently bullied by other kids at school for his lack of social skills and his general ignorance. Zephyr would be his only real friend for much of his life growing up as she was also a bit of an outcast. Zephyr taught DB how to stand up for himself and for others who can't defend themselves, which she learned from watching her hero Kasaikōri.
-DB longed to be free of his sheltered lifestyle and to travel and experience the world outside of Jambuki, especially after his teleportation powers awakened. His parents most likely only looked to protect him from the growing threat of MAVRO elsewhere around the world, but their immense sheltering frustrated DB to a point that one day after a heated argument, he packed up some things and used his powers to travel around, leaving his old home behind. The only reason he still returned to Jambuki frequently was to see Zephyr, who was training in a variety of martial arts around that time.
-Years later he agreed to join Zephyr in her plan to form a vigilante group after he witnessed the terrible treatment of Omnivoyant around the world.
-Unlike the two other members of the vigilante trio, DB does not wear a mask to hide his face. Being seen and recognized for his deeds is something that inspirits him, but he also seeks recognition and acceptance for Omnivoyant in general, thus he leaves his OmniV Mark visible and easy to see as well.

Daigō

-A former Kuro agent from the Aoriku branch and the third member of vigilante trio. His Kuro powers are channeled through his specially-made katana, which he named 'Ken'.
-Much is not known about his past (yet) because he does not speak. Additionally, he is so ashamed and deeply regrets his time as a Kuro agent that he has taken a vow of silence until his honor is restored and MAVRO is no more.
-Zephyr and DB ran into him during one of their first travels to Aoriku after hearing rumors of a mysterious masked and silent rōnin who helped locals in the countryside with their troubles.
-Much of what Zephyr and DB know about him is from what he's written down to tell them, although his ability to write in the common language is limited...
-He seems to have recognized Hiromi the moment he saw her, and bowed to her in a way that servants to the Aoriku royalty would have traditionally done in the past.
-Daigō wears a mask to hide his face in shame for his past as a Kuro agent. Not even Zephyr or DB knows what he looks like under there.

Chai's Mother

-The incumbent prime minister of Cassia and huge supporter of OmniV rights (being the previous owner of Chai's OmniV powers herself).
-Chai recalls her mother mentioning she's been involved in government dealings long before becoming prime minister, and would often have to travel abroad on business trips for long periods of time. After Chai discovered the nature of her OmniV powers, it led her to believe that her mother previously held a position as a spy, but Chai's mother can neither confirm nor deny~
