Ahoi y'all!~
The replays for the first six gams have been ready X3c
However, last night when I uploaded them to Dropbox like I usually did for vids, the video quality looked pretty butt =        v     = So I went to slep and today I decided to give ye 'ol Youtube a try XP And eyyyy it's looking better so far X3 At least, I think this is about the best I can get from Smash's replay feature without a capture card or anythin' huuu = v=/ (If I ever decide/figure out how to livestream gams in the future I'll probably do that way if I ever do this again XD aha)

This was definitely a different way of deciding the poll winner for the month than the usual popularity vote haha! XD

Even in spite of my pick's (hilarious) defeat, this was a lot of fun; chaos reigns supreme! If we're gonna stick with this going forward - and I hope that we do - the only thing I would change, if it were up to me that is, would be to have all of the finalists keep the same characters they won the first round with, for consistency's sake.

Allow me to say that I'm not a huge fan of this format, tbh. I get not wanting the same characters to win again and again, but I don't want the winners to be more or less random. Especially when the winner is "literally who?" like this time.

Maybe pure randomness isn’t a totally good thing. Possibly next vote we all vote as ussual then the top 6 or 8 we voted for get put into into this to decide the final winner.

I feel like there should be a clause where, if the character is both in the poll and in Smash, they should be the character.

Seconded. Maybe do a usual vote (despite it being popularity based), then pick the top 8 or so characters, and make it completely random from there by doing a smash game or the rng wheel.

DID Games

This was a super creative and fun way to decide your monthly winner! I had a lot of fun watching the games. Plus, it's nice for some characters that might not normally win to have a chance! (Maybe I'm biased though, because Belle is super cute and I'm excited to see you draw her) ~Pen

These matches were super fun to watch. I hope this will be used again in the future. Plus, I feel like this is more even playing field for each character win. A lot of characters don't win the usual popularity poll unfortunately.

While I understand where you're comin' from, the whole purpose of me asking folks and trying to do another method was to avoid any popularity-based decisions in this month's poll for a change~ Because, let's be honest, many submissions for these polls have little to no chance of beating the more popular characters in any vote T vT/ This Smash method won't replace the usual fan art polls of course, but every now and then it'd be nice to give lesser-known characters a chance to shine when they otherwise couldn't!~ XPc
