Update on Patreon Sales Tax~ (Patreon)

Howdy y'all!~ Just to give everyone a heads up in case you weren't aware or need a reminder: Starting July 1st Patreon will be required by law to start charging sales tax on some pledges.

According to Patreon's post about it here, about less than half of patrons will be affected by sales tax added to their pledge, and the amount will be very small~ :3c It's based off location too so it depends on where you live.
In addition, not every pledge is taxable, not all benefits are taxable in every location, and sometimes only a fraction of a pledge will be taxable. The money that Patreon collects as a result of these laws are paid directly to local governments~

This sales tax stuff may not even affect the majority of y'all anyway, but it's best to keep y'all in the loop in case you do see it appear starting next month~ :0
