Updates, Long-term Plans, Some Ideas, and Thank you <3 (Patreon)

Hey y'all!~ :3 Long post ahead so bear with me here (once again, tl;dr version at the bottom):

I wanted to start out by talking a bit about that recent crackdown on certain DiD artists I made a notice about weeks ago~ After some time to calm down and think about things, I did some research and some digging into the possible reasons why this one artist I follow got targeted and hit, and I thiiiiiink I understand why and I have a better idea of Patreon's expectations of creators.

Some of you have probably heard of FOSTA-SESTA in the U.S. (if not I encourage you to google it and be informed as well~), but the general gist of how this relates to us content creators is that website publishers will be held responsible if users are found to be involved in or supporting aspects of sex trafficking (including sexual slavery), hence the crackdown on certain bondage artists on Patreon. The DiD artist mentioned before seems to hav art that implies or even states the sale of individuals, with one of their last posts on Patreon depicting a bound and gagged guy with a 'For Sale' sign next to him... That would definitely send some red flags to the higher ups X0

Additionally, Patreon takes the glorification of sexual violence very seriously, and they hold the right to review and remove accounts that depict it. This includes non-consensual / coerced sexual relations, and I read that a lot of hypnofetishists got hit on Patreon a while ago for supposedly violating this guideline.

All of these seem to stem from the common focus of unwanted/forced sexual activity, whether implied in the art or not. As y'all know, most of my art is pretty tame when it comes to depicting sexual acts... eeeeexcept that Lucy draw. Unwanted groping definitely falls under that 'glorification of sexual violence' guideline, which is why all those Lucy posts had to go. Drawing consensual acts is okay, but anyways; the Lucy draw is still available on Dropbox, but I don't plan on keeping it there for long just in case. I'll figure out what to do with it in the near-future and let y'all know.
As for other bondage draws, as long as I don't imply any noncon sexual violence or anything mentioned above, I believe Patreon is pretty okay about it, but I can still be careful juuuuust in case. I'll most likely keep doing the cropping method I've been doing for some of my posts if I feel the need. But if anything, Patreon communicates with creators under review to get them back within guidelines, which I appreciate. So if anything happens to me and I get put under review, I can still come back from it~ 

So now, what's the plan moving forward?
For now, I've decided against starting up my own Discord server, at least for the time being. I may implement it in the future just for fun, but as another way of distributing content, I dunno. So we're going to maintain the present course and keep it all here on Patreon~
'But what if you really liked the direction the Lucy comic was going? D: Does that mean I'll stop doing that type of more risqué art?' Well... ye. Nonconsensual acts (like groping on unwilling partners) has no place on Patreon. It's best to adhere to Patreon's community guidelines because I have no intention of biting the hand that feeds me XO. They've provided a platform for me to get support from all you lovely folks, and I super appreciate that and all of you for helping me do all of this! ;   v ; To clarify, I'll still be making the same content you've enjoyed for years on DA and such, but the Lucy draw was one instance where I feel I may have drifted a bit too far into noncon territory :O I just need to be mindful and careful not to depict or imply anything bad in the future~

However, since I know I have an audience who's into that more risqué content, I'm thinking of other ways to allow for that to continue separate from Patreon.
Since Patreon allows me to send private messages in bulk (and can even send them based on which tier you're part of), it may be possible for me to send dropbox links to y'all without making an actual post on Patreon~ It may be risky since I'm still using this platform to distribute that content, but I'm all up for suggestions if you're part of this audience!

Moving on to something a lil more lighthearted, I wanted to share a couple plans for later down the road and the near-future~

During our first Fan Art Poll, I decided to also draw the OC with the most votes to celebrate the launch of this page. In the future, I think it would be fun to give OC's their own Fan Art Poll to allow for other OC's to shine, because tbh, it is very difficult for OC's to win against characters like Momo and Ruby... Maybe I could implement the OC Fan Art Poll if we hit the next goal?~ :0
And they'll probably be drawn in the same cel-shaded, simple-background style I've been doing recently since my usual shading style takes a loooooooooong time to finish... =    v = I don't wanna die haha but ye! It's an idea~

This next one is for you Honorary Omnivoyant specifically~ Over the past few months, I've been writing down ideas for the first bondage-centric comic I wanna do that you'll all have access to as I work on it, and I wanted to share a couple potential ideas and get your take on 'em X3c I'll probably make another post later this month giving a synopsis~ Oh and on that same post, I may also take ideas for the first pic pack you'll have access to as well XP I like having y'all involved for certain things like this hehe

To finish off, I just wanted to say thank you everyone so so much for supporting me on here~
I've had pretty bad self-esteem issues since I was little, and seeing the art I work so hard on being reposted and redistributed just puts me in such bad emotional and mental states... but witnessing all of your generous support and encouragement pulls me back and fills me with such gratitude that words really can't express. I do love drawing, but as much as I'm doing it for my own enjoyment, I'm also doing it for all of you. So thank you for sticking with me and for being such great folks~ ;     v  ;/

tl;dr No Magnolia Discord server for the time being, we'll be staying on this platform but will be careful not to break Patreon's community guidelines (big one being to avoid depicting or implying any noncon sexual acts). Still considering alternatives to allow for the continuation of noncon risqué draws like the Lucy one. I'm also considering an OC Fan Art Poll once we hit the next Patreon goal and I have a couple things to share with Honorary Omnivoyant later this month. And lastly, thank you very much for all your support and encouragement :3 Y'all are a big reason why I do this~
