Time had become a blip for the pair as Celleste birthed their children one after the other, with barely little time to recuperate in between. She struggled to keep up with each contraction as she attended to the crying and hungry newborns, making it more arduous. Still, she pushed through and before they knew it, they were bathing in daylight. Their night-long effort had given them four healthy babies, a feat they wouldn’t forget.

Tired, they retreated to their bed to hopefully gain some strength back. Incredibly, Celleste’s gut still looked like there could be another life in there, but alas, all of its residents had already been evicted. She was glad her lover had made it in time to witness the birth of their firstborn, along with her other three, beautiful siblings. Her pregnancy struggles had come to an end, yet it had given way to the biggest challenge yet - motherhood.
