Timelapse video of my first mask sketches.

This is the book I copied most of these masks from I found it years ago at a thrift store.

happy January 28th everybody

Another day without much to report. So here's another older painting.

This is ink and acrylic on rag paper from January 28th 2021.

When I was at my most determined to learn perspective I spent a lot of time drawing houses in my car. Then I would take the sketches home and add these little ghosts to them. I think I used a photo reference for online for this one though.

I tried this rag paper because I got this book of watercolor paintings by John Singer Sargent and it said that's what he used.

I love John Singer Sargent's watercolor paintings. I love his oil paintings too, but there's something about his watercolors. They have a loose energy. I feel like you can see his thought process in his watercolors.

I talked with an old friend from college.

She reminded me about this girl we both knew who faked a seizure in a grocery store to win an argument with her girlfriend.

That girl talks about conspiracy theories on Tik Tok now.

The San Fransisco 49ers are playing the Detroit Lions right now.

When I was a kid my favorite team was the Packers and they played the 49ers in the Super Bowl.

The packers lost and I cried in the car with my Packers helmet on.

Have Fun,

Goodnight Sweeties.
