I wrote this after I did this study:

Stamina

I have been doing these studies

Followed by automatic drawing

There's an ebb and flow thing though

The paintings are just flowing and they make sense

But that just can’t last forever

I can’t do that every day

I can paint every day

Like an athlete practicing or working out

But inspiration and that easy flow can’t last forever

You have to be ready for it when it comes

And take advantage of it when its there

You have to be ready for when it leaves

Collect all the material you can

That will get you through the ebb times

I’ve been using cadmium red light recently. Thats a new color for me

I really am in love with it.
