It's a hard life out there for a dark/surrealist/abstract painter. What's a weirdo to do?

Well, I take other commissions outside of my desired realm.

However, I loved doing this one.

The origin of this was teaching little kids to paint kitties.

I've learn my lesson the hard way, that if you want (especially little girls) to pay pay attention in art class, you have to have a really cute subject to paint.

I've consulted with our overlords as Disney and Pixar to find the secret formula of creating hypnotic cuteness and the secret sauce is big round shapes.

And I've applied that ratio to nearly everything we paint in class.

So I painted cute cats with the kids. The cute cat I painted for the demonstration was based on my families cat, Millie.

So I shared a picture of it in the family group chat, and my brother's fiancé hired me to paint her family cat in the same style for her mother's birthday gift.

If anyone else wants a cute cat/pet commission, let me know! This is the best time to commission one for the holidays coming up! And of course I'll give you Choir only deals!
