New Set up at the Hive

My space at the Hive is like a mini art gallery/ used book shop. I have a little shelf where I resell books I find. I look for books based on their covers. I love books with a classy illustration on them. 📚

New Frame Old Piece

I got a new burl wood frame for that snail painting I did a while ago. I think it really brings a lot to that piece. I updated it in my shop. 🐌🪵

Failed Framing

The Frame that I had Mr. 6 in didn't work. I started trying to install the hanging hardware to hang it and realized that it was made out of some kind of thick porcelain or something. so I couldn't put screws in it. I swapped the piece out into a different frame I had. But-and please forgive me for this- I ordered a new frame for it 😬. So I also took him out of the shop until I can switch him out into his new frame. 

New Painting and more framing issues

One of the new pieces I put up is called "Over it." I haven't posted anything about her on here really. But You'll see plenty of her in the new Art Life and Lives video coming soon! 

I also haven't put her in my shop yet because she needs a frame.I had her in the burl one that I put the snail in, but when I got to the gallery I saw that the frame went so much better with the snail. So I did the old switcharoo on them. 

I ordered an interesting frame from a new place I haven't gotten frames from before. The frame looks sweet though and I'm excited to see it. She should be framed and in the shop sometime next week. Hopefully 🖼️
