Part of the struggle of learning the technical fundamentals is that it can start feeling like work and less like art. So I think it's important to have little methods and techniques like this where you can forget about all the concepts and just let your mind run wild.

I'm going to start branching out the Bad Art course to include "alternative" approaches to drawing. Instead of waiting to finish the technical fundamentals first, as I had initially planned, I'm just going to start doing it. 

When the whole hard drive fiasco happened last week, I started digging through all my notes for ideas that I could quickly turn into videos.

I found a bunch of lesson plans that I've given in person at schools, libraries and events. It was a jackpot. There's some really good stuff in there that I'm excited about.

I'm really happy with this video and I think you'll enjoy it too.
