"requiem collectors: creatures that lives in memories. they don’t harm you, they help keep things neat up there. you can see them sometimes but their form is effected by whatever emotions are connected to the memory. some like to eat nostalgia, loneliness, anticipation, or passion. i found this one snacking on some excess hopelessness left over from my time in college. i don’t mind, its not like i was using it anyway. so next time ur reminiscing, keep an eye out for one of these guys."

"Because I've always enjoyed the idea of luring men to their doom, the Siren has been my favorite mythological creature since I had to choose one for a project in 8th grade. Since the siren(s) were traditionally depicted as half woman/half bird I chose to continue this with a modern, diva twist. Obviously, she's good at what she does. (Nest full of dismembered sailor parts not pictured)."

"The biblical story of Gehenna (or the Valley of Hinnom) is part myth, part history. Across cultures, over time, and under many names, Gehenna is described as a place of fire, filth, and suffering. A version of the Gehenna myth condemns worshippers of Baal for burning children as sacrifice there. Some translations call this place Sheol, or Hell on Earth.

The stench and smoke of rot and burning flesh may no longer rise from a physical place outside Old Jerusalem, but the perfumes of Gehenna still linger on this earth. In the name of a god or no god at all, for spoils or jealousy or in the name of justice, innocent flesh burns by savage command, and the blood of martyrs mingles with mud and shit and charred garbage.

Originally a study of Alberto Burri, this piece, "Perfumes of Gehenna" is composed of colors and textures meant to disturb your senses and provoke visceral revulsion. Acrylic on wood panel, 12 x 6 inches."

It was a toss up for me of which one to include for my submission. I chose this one.

"Cave Shenanigans."
